Sowing Online 2019/20: rapeseed sowing 40 pct complete

Agrarians in 21 regions of Ukraine have started winter rapeseed sowing campaign for the 2020 harvest.
By the data of the Sowing Online 2019/20 Project, as of August 20th, 431 thou. ha or 40% of the forecast (2018: 401 thou. ha) are sown.
Rapeseed campaign has not yet stared in Luhansk, Odesa and Zakarpattya regions.

As of August 21st, harvesting of grain and leguminous crops in Ukraine was carried out on the area of 10 million hectares or 65% of the forecast. The crop reached 38.9 million tons using the average yield of 3.9 tons per hectare.
