Draft farmland market law registered in the Ukrainian Parliament

The draft Law on Land Market No. 10469 "On Amendments to the Land Code of Ukraine" was registered in the Parliament of Ukraine. Its author is Oleksiy Mushak, member of the 8th Parliament.
Previously the MP registered a number of land bills, in particular, on the abolition of the moratorium No. 9355-2.

World Bank Group President David Malpass arrived in Kyiv on Thursday, August 22nd, 2019 for a two-day visit to discuss farmland market perspectives in Ukraine with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskiy. During this visit, World Bank Group President discussed Ukraine’s plans for economic reforms aimed at boosting growth and creating more jobs and better opportunities for the Ukrainian people.
The official agenda did not include the issue of land, merely common phrases.
