Sugar production volumes in Ukraine lower YoY

As of November 5th, plants in Ukraine produced 928.3 thou. t of sugar, the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar) informs.
6.30 mln t of sugar beet were processed by the reporting date. 31 plants started beet sugar production season.
For the corresponding date last year, beet sugar production in Ukraine reached 1.03 mln t, 3.5% more from the current year's indicator.
As estimated by the analytical department of Ukrsugar, sugar export in 2019/2020 should reach 300 thou. t.
By November 4th, harvesting of sugar beet reached 8 mln t on 184 thou. ha. The crop is harvested using the average yield of 43.8 t/ha.
