Sugar beet crop 92 pct processed

As of December 12th, plants in Ukraine produced 1.363 mln t of beet sugar, the National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar) informs.

9.03 mln t of sugar beet were processed by the reporting date. 31 plants were launched in the current beet sugar production season.

As estimated by the analytical department of Ukrsugar, sugar export in 2019/2020 should reach 300 thou. t.

Sugar beet was harvested from 220 thou. ha or 100% of the areas by December 10th. The crop reached 9.8 mln t using the average productivity of 44.6 t/ha.
