Sunflower meal supply record-high in Sep-Mar 2019/20

In seven months of 2019/20, sunflower meal exports from Ukraine reached a record level of 3.31 mln t (+13% YoY), UkrAgroConsult reports.
"China has almost doubled its purchases of sunflower meal from Ukraine. Exports to the EU countries have decreased significantly," the report reads.
The export potential in 2019/20 is estimated at a record level (+10% compared to 2018/19).
It is reported that the procurement volumes were increased by India (+387%), Italy (+59%) and Turkey (+28%). Exports to the Netherlands (-79%), France (-32%), and the United Kingdom (-83%) declined.
Previously, OptimusAgro Trade reported that China, France, India, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Poland and Belarus were the key markets for the product in H1 2019/20.
