RISOIL vests USD 20 mln in grain handling capacity increase

Acquisition of a share in the authorized capital of BOCONTI Ukraine by RISOIL S.A. will contribute to the increase of the company's bulk cargo transshipment up to 2 mln t per year.

"The company plans to invest USD 20 mln in the equipment of technological lines to enhance the transshipment and storage of both import and export cargoes," the company says in a statement.

With the acquisition, the capacity of RISOIL S.A. open storage will be increased to 200 thou. t of bulk cargo. Cargo weighing and shipment to open cars in import mode will now be carried out on 200 wagons daily.

As reported, the intensity of vessels handling by the company will increase to 20 thou. t per day. Handymax type vessels with draught up to 11.2 m, length up to 220 m and carrying capacity up to 50 thou. t will also be received.

As a reminder, in April of the current year, RISOIL acquired the corporate rights to TK Exim Oil in the port of Chernomorsk (Odesa region).
