IMC reports stronger financial performance in 6M 2021

The agricultural holding IMC generated a 6% higher revenue in 6M 2021, USD 84.8 mln (6M 2020: USD 79.8 mln). As reported, the company's net profit reached USD 77.4 mln having increased by 3x YoY (6M 2020: USD 26.8 mln).

The gross profit of IMC totalled USD 91.1 mln, 69% above the previous year's comparative period (6M 2020: USD 53.8 mln). IMC's operating profit improved by 116% from USD 37 mln in 6M 2020 to USD 80.1 mln in 6M 2021.

EBITDA increased by 93% to USD 91.9 mln (6M 2020: USD 47.6 mln) due to a significant increase in prices for grain and oilseeds grown by the company.

The сompany’s revenue from sales of finished products increased by 7% in 6M 2021 (6M 2020: USD 79.1 mln).

The most significant portion of IMC’s revenue comes from selling corn, which represented 98.2% in 6M 2021 and 97,5% in 6M 2020 of total revenue.
