Undeterred by weak market activity, Ukrainian wheat price remains high
While wheat quotes maintain a downward trend resulting from lower activity on international markets and speculative closing of positions by market participants, Ukrainian wheat persists at a stable high price, Barva Invest analysts observe.
"December Chicago futures are down another 0.07 USD/bushel, with European prices down by 2.25 EUR/t, and Black Sea prices 2 USD/t lower. Last week's price surge reduced activity in the physical markets and Pakistan made no purchases at the last tender," analysts say.
On the Ukrainian market, prices keep up at high levels for a stable lineup.
Previously reported that the world prices for all staple grains continued their 4-month increase in October.
