Agribusiness in Ukraine attracted UAH 37 bln of credits so far 2023

Since the beginning of 2023, 7.3 thou. Ukrainian agricultural enterprises have received almost UAH 37 bln in bank loans. Of these, 5.8 thou. farms received UAH 21.8 bln under the 5-7-9% Affordable Loans program government programme, the Agriculture Ministry reports.
Farmers in the following regions received the largest volume of loans under various programmes:
- Kyiv UAH 7.5 bln
- Vinnytsia UAH 3.9 bln
- Dnipropetrovsk UAH 3 bln
- Kirovohrad UAH 2.8 bln
- Odesa UAH 2.5 bln
Alongside this, enterprises in the following regions received the most funds under the 5-7-9% Affordable Loans programme:
- Kirovohrad UAH 2.49 bln for 838 farms
- Vinnytsia UAH 2.3 bln for 745 farms
- Odesa UAH 2.1 bln for 565 farms
- Kyiv UAH 2.1 bln for 467 farms
The Government extended state support under the 5-7-9% Affordable Loans programme, in particular to farmers who received loans as part of the 2022 sowing campaign.
