Astarta restarts construction of another deep soybean processing line at Globinskiy processing factory

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the agro-industrial holding Astarta-Kyiv plans to resume construction of an additional deep soybean processing line at its Globinskiy processing factory in Poltava region, Mind.ua reports.

Production of concentrated soybean protein will be up to 100 thousand tons per year.

"The USD 50 million project was announced in 2021, and now it is estimated at about USD 60 million, adjusted for inflation," says Sustainable Business Development and IR Director Yuliya Bereshchenko.

According to her, the investments will be split over three years — 2023 and the next two, and the project will be financed mainly from free cash flow.

Astarta's consolidated revenue for 9M2023 stood at EUR 392 million, up 15% YoY, driven by sales growth in all businesses.
