British Govt invests US$25 million in unlocking exports from Ukraine

British International Investment (BII) will invest US$25 million to unlock Ukrainian exports and imports, including vital food supplies, the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office of the UK announced on X (Twitter).

"The UK is helping safeguard Ukraine’s long-term future," the message reads.

It is the institution's first investment in Ukraine. It comes ahead of the investment of £250 million of new capital for BII which the Prime Minister announced at the Ukraine Recovery Conference in June 2023.
