Winter crops planting done in 9 regions of Ukraine

Winter crops planting in Ukraine for the 2025 harvest was completed on 5.98 million hectares as of 5 November. As the Ministry of Agriculture reported, the winter grains and rapeseed campaign is in progress in all regions of Ukraine (controlled territory) despite severe drought. Nine regions have completed the campaign.
Sown areas by winter crops as of 5 November:
- rapeseed — 1.07 mln ha
- wheat — 4.3 mln ha
- barley — 543.6 thou. ha
- rye — 67.9 thou. ha
For the 2024 harvest, winter crops covered 5.8 million hectares.
