Turkey leads Ukrainian corn imports in 2024/25 season — UGA

Turkey was the largest importer of Ukrainian corn in the 2024/25 marketing year, purchasing 5.5 mln tons of the crop, according to data from the Ukrainian Grain Association (UGA).

Italy ranked second with almost 3 mln tons, while Spain took third place with over 2.7 mln tons. Strong demand also came from the Netherlands (2.36 mln tons) and Egypt (1.7 mln tons).

Other key destinations for Ukrainian corn included:

  • South Korea — 778,000 tons,

  • Libya — 721,000 tons,

  • Israel — 583,000 tons,

  • Belgium — 558,000 tons,

  • Lebanon — 524,000 tons.

In total, Ukraine exported 21.5 mln tons of corn last season, worth nearly $4.5 bln, out of 25.9 mln tons produced in the previous year.
