AGROTRADE reports 3.5 t/ha rapeseed yield, wheat reaches 5.4 t/ha in eastern Kharkiv region

AGROTRADE Group has threshed over 2,500 ha, which is 14% of the total planned area for early crops, according to the company’s report. The largest harvested areas are located in Kharkiv and Sumy regions.

Harvest structure:

• 85% — winter wheat,

• 15% — winter rapeseed.

“In Kharkiv region, winter wheat yields have been affected by frost, but Sumy and Chernihiv regions are gradually balancing the overall results. We started harvesting from drier plots and expect higher yields on later varieties. Overall, we forecast achieving, or even slightly exceeding, our plan. Winter rapeseed yields average around 3.5 t/ha — despite the weather, the results are in line with expectations,” said Oleksandr Ovsyanyk, Director of AGROTRADE Group’s Agro-Industrial Department.

The best results are seen in Chernihiv region, where rapeseed yields are 111% of the plan.

The company also noted that winter wheat is performing steadily, with some fields in Kharkiv region producing over 5.4 t/ha and achieving up to 106% of the target.
