Ukrainian farmers harvest 31.6 mln t of grain from new crop; wheat 98% threshed with average yield of 4.37 t/ha
As of August 29, 2025, Ukrainian farmers have harvested 28.37 mln t of early grains and pulses from 6.89 mln ha, the Ministry of Economy reported. Harvesting has been completed on 61% of the sown area.
By crop:

Wheat — 21.86 mln t from 5.0 mln ha, avg. yield 4.37 t/ha (98% complete).

Barley — 5.16 mln t from 1.34 mln ha, avg. yield 3.84 t/ha.

Peas — 585,000 t from 262,300 ha, avg. yield 2.23 t/ha.

Other grains and pulses — 746,400 t from 266,700 ha.
