Overnigt to 20 October, the russian army attacked Ukraine’s logistics infrastructure, damaging railway and port facilities, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksiy Kuleba reported.

The strike targeted port infrastructure, damaging several facilities and buildings. Fires were contained, and port workers remained in shelters, with no casualties reported.

“At the moment, several ports are not accepting freight trains. Railcars have been dispersed across the network and will move once operations resume,” the statement said.

In Chernihiv region, russian forces struck a Ukrzaliznytsia traction substation. Railway power engineers began repairs overnight, but the enemy redirected drones to the restoration site. There were no casualties, train movement has been restored, and backup locomotives are in operation.
