Astarta equips trucks with Starlink to improve planning of grain elevator intake and sugar beet logistics
Astarta has connected part of its truck fleet to satellite internet provided by Starlink to ensure stable communication during transportation.
The project was launched in October 2025 in cooperation with Kyivstar.
The initiative covers trucks transporting agricultural products that often operate in areas with unstable or no mobile network coverage. The vehicles have been equipped with GPS trackers using SIM cards capable of transmitting signals via satellite when conventional connectivity is unavailable.
The company now maintains continuous communication with its fleet even in the field, with the ability to track routes, transit times, and vehicle status in real time.
According to Astarta, this has also improved planning of elevator operations and sugar beet receiving stations, ensured stable raw material supply, and reduced the impact of external factors on logistics.
