Russia attacks Potoky oilseed processing plant in Dnipro

Russia struck the Potoky oilseed processing plant and warehouses belonging to the Varus supermarket chain in Dnipro, according to a Telegram statement published on May 6 by city mayor Borys Filatov.

“Yesterday the Russians hit Varus supermarket warehouses containing only food products and household goods, as well as the Potoky plant, which processes oilseeds,” the statement said.

Filatov noted that such attacks on civilian businesses are often generalised in official reports without naming the affected companies directly. According to him, a similar situation occurred after the strike on the Oleina facility, but the approach to public reporting has not changed.
