Construction of a new feed mill with an integrated grain elevator complex has started at the West Ukrainian Industrial Hub industrial park in Ternopil region, according to Dmytro Kysylevskyi, coordinator of the “Made in Ukraine” policy initiative.
The facility, designed to produce 400,000 tons of compound feed annually, is scheduled to be commissioned in 2027. Earthworks are currently underway at the site.
The total investment in the project amounts to UAH 1.5 billion. To import equipment for the new plant, the investor, Agroprodservice, plans to take advantage of the customs duty and VAT exemptions on production equipment available to industrial park residents under Ukrainian legislation.
In addition, the West Ukrainian Industrial Hub is preparing an application for state co-financing of industrial park infrastructure development. Funding may be secured to provide an additional 10 MW of power capacity required for the new facility.
The new feed mill and grain elevator complex will occupy 5 hectares. The site is part of a newly added area incorporated into the industrial park after all available space had been exhausted. In December 2025, the West Ukrainian Industrial Hub expanded its territory from 10.6 hectares to 55 hectares. The original site has been fully developed with 71,000 square meters of industrial facilities.
- In August 2025, Agroprodservice launched a food processing plant producing canned vegetables, pickled products, and vacuum-packed vegetable convenience foods under the Babusia Marusia brand.
