Kernel contracts 5,000 tons of fertilizers from the Netherlands for autumn sowing campaign
Kernel has contracted 5,000 tons of ICL PKpluS fertilisers for the 2026 autumn sowing campaign. The first 2,000 tons have already arrived in Ukraine from the Netherlands and are being delivered according to the planned schedule, said Roman Slaston, Head of Business in Ukraine at ICL Growing Solutions.
The supplies are being carried out under a memorandum of cooperation that has been in effect between the parties since early 2024.
According to Slaston, advance planning and agreement on supply volumes enabled the partners to secure raw materials for production ahead of time and avoid the impact of recent price fluctuations in the fertiliser market.
Fertiliser deliveries to Ukraine are being handled by distributor BINFIELD, which is responsible for product imports and logistics. The fertilisers were shipped through the L-Trans logistics terminal.
