Analysts cut Astarta’s full-year profit forecast
Analysts at Eavex Capital have lowered their forecast for Astarta’s financial results for 2026 following weaker-than-expected first-half performance. In their base-case scenario, they now expect the agricultural holding company to post a net profit of €15 million, according to a statement from the analysts.
In the first half of 2026, Astarta reported a net loss of €14 million, compared with a net profit of €42 million in the same period last year. EBITDA fell 57.7% to €34 million from €81 million, while revenue remained broadly unchanged at €227 million.
Against this backdrop, Eavex Capital said the company’s results fell short of its expectations, prompting the analysts to downgrade their full-year 2026 forecast.
“In our base-case scenario, we now expect Astarta to finish 2026 with a net profit of just €15 million,” Eavex Capital said in a review.
Under this forecast, Astarta shares are trading at a price-to-earnings (P/E) multiple of 15.5x and an EV/EBITDA multiple of 5.8x, according to the analysts’ calculations.
Since the start of the year, the company’s share price has fallen 6.5%, from 44.0 zlotys to 41.2 zlotys. Last week, the shares hit a new 52-week low of 41.15 zlotys.
