Kernel increased its net profit by 14% for 6 months of FY 2017

Kernel Agricultural Holding has increased its net profit by 13.7% to $161.29 million for 6 months of 2017 MY.

This was stated in the company's report.

According to the report, the company's revenue increased by 4.49% and amounted to $1 043. 34 million compared to $998.55 million for the same period of 2016 MY.

Gross profit increased by 4.74% and amounted to $251.79 million ($240.41 million).

It is noted that the company EBITDA made $202.2 million compared to $200.1 million for the same period of 2016 MY.

"In the second quarter of 2017 MY, EBITDA was $130 million, which is 10.3% less than the same period of the previous MY. EBITDA decline was due to the high competition among the sunflower oil producers and changes in the sales structure in agriculture. But this is offset by robust performance in the grain and infrastructure business of the company ", stated in the report.
