The Committee of Permanent Representatives in the EU has agreed quotas for Ukraine
The Committee of Permanent Representatives of the EU member states approved preliminary agreements, reached in the framework of interinstitutional negotiations with the EU Council and the European Commission on trade preferences for Ukraine.

It is noted that now this decision must be approved by the European Parliament at the plenary session in July as well as by the Council of the European Union.
Preferences will be introduced for the period up to 3 years.
As a result of the interinstitutional negotiations, the parties reached a compromise, according to which the quotas for tomatoes, wheat, corn and honey will be increased, but not to the extent, previously proposed by the European Commission. The urea was excluded from the proposals.
This is to remind that the annual quotas were established as follows: honey — 2,5 thousand tons, processed tomatoes — 3 thousand tons, wheat — 65 thousand tons, corn — 625 thousand tons, barley — 325 thousand tons.
