Ukraine will export 1.85 million tons of rapeseed in 2017/18 MY

In 2017/18 MY, rapeseed export from Ukraine should reach 1.85 million tons.

This is reported by ODA Ukraine analyst Pavel Martyshev.

At the same time, the record volume of rapeseed was exported in August — 645 thousand tons.

According to him, active export demand is the main driver of price growth.

"Since early July, the Ukrainian rapeseed market has seen a positive price trend. Starting prices of the current campaign were higher than the last year's average of 1.5 thousand UAH/ton. In addition, from the beginning of 2017/18 MY, prices increased from 11.5 thousand UAH/ton to 12.2 thousand UAH/ton EXW," Pavel Martyshev noted.

Let us remind, that the analyst of the agricultural market Stanislava Jarosch expects the export of rapeseed at the level of 1.85-1.95 million tons.
