Ukraine exported 28 thousand tons of rapeseed oil in January-August

In January-August 2017 Ukraine exported 28.23 thousand tons of rapeseed oil for $22.39 million.

According to the data of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, the main importers of Ukrainian rapeseed oil in the reporting period are Poland ($10.92 million), Lithuania ($5.86 million) and China ($2.34 million). Exports to these countries amounted to 13.77 thousand tons, 7.39 tons and 2.95 tons of rapeseed oil, respectively.

At the same time, in 2016 Ukraine reduced the export of rapeseed oil by 38.1% to 91.95 thousand tons (148.55 thousand tons in 2015).

Let us remind, that the world production of rapeseed in 2017/18 MY will increase by 0.9 million tons to 64.2 million tons.
