More than 2 million hectares of winter wheat have been planted in Ukraine — Sowing Online 2017/18

As of September 22, 2.1 million hectares under winter wheat or 34% of the forecasted areas are sown in Ukraine. This is evidenced in the data of the project Latifundist.com Sowing online 2017/18.

In addition, sowing of winter rye was carried out on the area of 69 thousand hectares or 43% of the forecast, winter barley — 52 thousand hectares out of 926 thousand hectares of forecasted areas.

Planned areas under winter rapeseed have already been sown, agrarians conducted field work on more than 100% of the projected areas — 780 thousand hectares (forecast — 777 thousand hectares).

As of September 22, agrarians prepared 7.3 million hectares or 90% of the forecasted areas for sowing winter crops.
