Corn yield in Ivano-Frankivsk region varies between 5 and 7.5 t/ha

Agrarians of Ivano-Frankivsk region note that corn yield is at the level of last year's indicators and varies within the range of 5-7.5 t/ha.

This is reported by the APK-Inform. 

The acceleration of corn harvesting is noted due to favorable weather conditions in the region.

According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, in Ivano-Frankivsk region as of September 25, corn was harvested on the area of 7.4 thousand hectares (17% to the forecast) with an average productivity of 6.05 t/ha.

Let us remind, that according to the joint project of Latifundist.com and AGCO Harvest Online 2017, as of September 22, 2017 in Ukraine, the corn yield amounted to 1.2 million tons, with the yield of 4.38 tons/ha (2016 — 4.79 t/ha).
