Ukraine produced more than 200 thousand tons of sugar

As of September 26, Ukraine produced 201.95 thousand tons of sugar and processed 1.58 million tons of sugar beet.
This is reported by Ukrsugar.
30 sugar factories began sugar beet processing.
On September 24, the production of sugar started Svitkar (Sokolovsky sugar plant) and Belyi Kolodets, and on September 25 — Novomirgorodsky Sahar (Kapitanovsky sugar plant).
Let us remind, that the association Ukrsugar forecasts 46 sugar plants to function in 2017/18 MY. Projected production of sugar remains at the same level — 2 million tons.
