32 Ukrainian plants started sugar season

In Ukraine, as of October 2, processing of sugar beet began 32 sugar plants.
This is reported by Ukrsugar.
On September 29, Krasilovsky sugar factory started sugar production.
As of September 29, 309.8 thousand tons of sugar were produced and 2.35 million tons of sugar beet were processed.
Let us remind, that the association Ukrsugar forecasts 46 sugar plants to work in 2017/18 MY. Projected production of sugar remains at the same level — 2 million tons.
