The shipping through the Kerch Strait will be limited again
Tomorrow, on October 11, the ban on the passage of all types of vessels lasting for three days will again be introduced in the Kerch-Enikalsky canal.
This is stated in the disposal of the captain of the seaport of Kerch on October 9, 2017, №СБ-120-p, posted on the website of the administration of the seaports of the Black Sea.
"Prohibit from 6 a.m. local time on October 11, 2017 until 6 a.m. local time on October 14, 2017 the sailing of all ships and vessels, except for ships and vessels of the Navy, ships and vessels of the federal security agencies, as well as vessels participating in the technological process of construction of the facility Transport passage through the Kerch Strait in the restricted construction area of the transport passage in the waters of the Kerch Strait," the document says.
It is noted that the introduction of this limitation is due to the need to carry out work on the construction of the Crimean bridge.
"In the forbidden area for navigation, a permissive schedule of traffic and parking of ships operates in accordance with the daily traffic schedule and the arrangement of vessels along the seaport of Kerch," the text of the order says.
Earlier this year similar measures were introduced on August 27-30. These restrictions were related to the first stage of the sea operation — transportation and lifting to the fairways of the railway arch of the Crimean bridge.
