479 thousand tons of sugar produced in Ukraine

In Ukraine, as of October 10, agrarians processed 3.57 million tons of sugar beet and produced 479.3 thousand tons of sugar.

39 sugar plants began processing sugar beet.
The association Ukrsugar forecasts 46 sugar plants to work in 2017/18 MY. Projected production of sugar remains at the same level — 2 million tons.
