Ukraine in January-September exported 1.7 million tons of soybeans

Ukraine in January-September of 2017 exported 1.68 million tons of soybeans for the amount of $635.88 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine, in September 2017, soybean exports amounted to 38,000 tons against 50,000 tons in August.

The main importers of Ukrainian soybeans in January-September are Turkey ($177.22 million), Iran ($113.59 million) and Egypt ($94.42 million). Exports to these countries amounted to 467.68k tons, 299.69k tons and 249.18k tons of soy, respectively.

The gross harvest of soybeans in 2017/18 MY compared with the previous year will decrease by almost 400k tons to 3.9 million tons.
