M.V. Cargo will contribute $10 million to the budget of port Yuzhny

The building M.V. Cargo terminal, which belongs to Cargill, will bring the Odessa region and the port itself about $10 million (approximately 260 million USD) disbursement to the budget.

This opinion was expressed by Vadim Shirokov, the head of the STP Yuzhny, reports Elevatorist.com.

In addition, about 500 workplaces will be created.

According to him, the company Cargill, which is building a grain terminal in Yuzhny, expects a serious and long work in Ukraine.

"This company does not come for one or two years, but for several decades. It will constantly work and accumulate funds. I think that in 5 years such a company as Cargill will raise the issue of its own development here in Yuzhny. I know the opinion of American business — they always move ahead. Therefore, these are serious prospects," said Maxim Shirokov.

It was earlier reported, that on September 13, the construction site of the M.V. Cargo terminal was visited by Marie Yovanovitch, the US Ambassador to Ukraine, Ernie Thrasher, founder and CEO of Xcoal Energy & Resources Corporation, and the management of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine.
