Yield of soybean in Zhytomyr region currently varies between 1.9-2.2 t/ha

Agrarians of the Zhytomyr region note that the yield of soybean currently varies most often within the range of 1.9-2.2 t/ha, reaching in some cases 2.5 t/ha.

This is reported by APK-Inform.

It is also reported that favorable weather conditions, in particular, the sufficient amount of precipitation during soybean filling, contributed to the fact that the quality parameters of the oilseed crop mostly meet the requirements of GOST.

According to the data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, as of October 11, soybeans in the Zhitomyr region are harvested on 59.1 thousand hectares (40% of the forecast), 123.3 thousand tons of soybean are harvested and the average yield amounts to 2.09 tons/ha.

Reference: according to the joint project of Latifundist.com and AGCO Harvest Online 2017 as of October 6, 2017, Ukrainian farmers threshed 2.1 million tons of harvest, with the yield of 1.81 tons/ha (2016 — 2,15 t/ha) from 1.1 million hectares or 57% of the forecast areas.
