Svarog West Group seed plant produced 5.6 thousand tons of winter crops seeds

In 2017, the seed plant of Svarog West Group Corp. produced about 5.6 thousand tons of high-quality winter crops seeds.

12 varieties of winter wheat are prepared for corporate use and for trading.

For the needs of the corn sowing campaign, it is planned to use about 4.6 thousand tons of seeds.

"At the same time, the seed plant provides a wide range of services to customers and partners, which include cleaning, sorting, calibrating, treatment with fungicides and insecticides, seed incrustation, as well as packing and storage of seeds. The plant sells seeds not only to long-time partners, but also to private farms, who were recently sold about 200 tons," the company reports.

The seed plant provides exceptionally high quality seeds, which is confirmed by the annual record harvesting results of Svarog West Group Corp. enterprises.

Reference: Svarog West Group harvested sugar beet from 60% of the area. Interim results of the harvesting campaign demonstrate excellent indicators. In the Central cluster of the corporation, the average yield reached 60.56 t/ha, the Northern cluster shows the productivity of 63.35 t/ha, and the South region reaches 69.09 t/ha.
