The largest sugar exporters in 2016/17 MY are named

The leader in the export of sugar in 2016/17 MY is Vinnytsia Bread Factory No.2 (UKRPROMINVEST-AGRO), which managed to deliver to the foreign markets 152.5 thousand tons of sugar for the amount of USD 74.7 million.

The top three leaders are Tsukoragroprom and Radekhovsky Sugar, which exported 117.3 thousand tons and 101.9 thousand tons of sugar, respectively.

The TOP-10 of sugar exporters includes:

1. Vinnytsia Bread Factory No.2 — 152,5k tons;

2. Tsukoragroprom — 117,3k tons;

3. Radekhovsky Sugar — 101,9k tons;

4. Khmelnytsky, Zhdanovsky Sugar Plant — 35,4k tons;

5. Novorzhitsky Sugar Plant — 31.3k tons;

6. Ukrainian Sugar Company — 29.2k tons;

7. Teofipol Sugar Plant — 26.1k tons;

8. Agrofirm named after Dovzhenko, Yareskovskiy Sugar Plant — 22.9k tons;

9. Cygnet Holding — 20.1k tons;

10. Svitanok — 19.8k tons.

Reference: in 2016/17 MY the Ukrainian producers exported a record amount of sugar — 767.3k tons worth of USD 377.8 million. The largest deliveries were made to Sri Lanka (112.2k tons), Georgia (47.9k tons) and Turkey (42.5k tons).
