OKKO Agrotrade exported 500k tons of grain in MY 2016/17

The company OKKO Agrotrade, which is part of OKKO Group, in MY 2016/17 exported 500 thousand tons of grain.

This is reported by the press service of the company.

Next year, the volume of exports is planned to double.

In addition to grain, the company also exports oilseeds. Today, more than 90% of agricultural products received by OKKO Agrotrade are exported. In the domestic market, the largest buyer of the company is Concern Khlebprom.

"The last marketing year has become for us a period of formation, during which we presented ourselves in the market. The high reputation of the OKKO brand helped us quickly find our niche in the Ukrainian agricultural sector and served as the best guarantee of reliable and honest cooperation for our agrarian partners," said Alexander Kucherenko, commercial director of OKKO Agrotrade.

The key instrument, that OKKO Agrotrade offers to the enterprises of the agroindustrial complex, is the forward program, according to which the company provides partners with fuel, fertilizers or directly with financial resources during the field work.

"Today, the main partners of the OKKO Agrotrade forward program are small and medium-sized farms with areas from 500 hectares to 30 thousand hectares, but we do not make any restrictions for potential partners on the size of the land bank, and we are open to cooperation with all comers," Alexander Kucherenko comments.
