ADM reduced net profit by 44% in Q3 2017

ADM's net profit for Q3 2017 decreased by 43.69% to US$ 192 million.

The company reports US$ 807 million net profit in 9M 2017 against US$ 855 million for the same period last year.

Revenue for the Q3 2017 decreased to US$ 14.83 billion (Q3 2016 — US$ 15.83 billion), and for 9 months of 2017 — to US$ 44.76 billion (9M 2016 — US$ 45.85 billion).

According to the report, earnings per share declined from US$ 0.58 to US$ 0.34.

During the first 9 months of 2017, the company paid its shareholders US$ 1.2 billion through dividends and share buy-out.
