1.16 MT of sugar produced in Ukraine since the beginning of MY 2017/18

In Ukraine, as of November 6, agrarians processed 8.28 million tons of sugar beet and produced 1.16 million tons of sugar.
The National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar) reports that 41 sugar plants began sugar beet processing.
Reference: the Association forecasts 46 sugar plants to function in MY 2017/18. Projected production of sugar remains at the same level — 2 million tons.
