Ukraine in January-October exported 4.9 MT of sunflower oil

In the period of January-October 2017, Ukraine exported 4.89 million tons of sunflower oil for the amount of US$ 3.65 billion.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine (SFS) reports that exports of sunflower oil in October amounted to 531 thousand tons.

The main importers of sunflower oil in the reporting period are India (US$ 1,291 million), China (US$ 348.73 million) and Spain (US$ 365.47 million). Exports to these countries amounted to 1,731.79 thousand tons, 518.9 thousand tons and 490.05 thousand tons of sunflower oil, respectively.

Reference: the share of sunflower oil in export container shipments of vegetable oils from Ukraine in MY 2016/17 increased by 23% to 90% compared to MY 2015/16.
