Egypt purchased 120 thousand tons of Russian wheat

The Egyptian state grain operator GASC contracted at tender Russian wheat in the volume of 120 thousand tons.

This is reported by APK-Inform.

Wheat was purchased in batches of 60 thousand tons each from ADM and Friends operators at a price of USD 196.5 per ton FOB plus USD 13.5 per ton for freight.

According to the terms of the tender, the purchased grain should be delivered between December 15 and December 30, 2017.

Previously it was reported that Ukraine from the beginning of MY 2017/18 as of November 8, 2017 exported 14.26 million tons of grain, which is 147 thousand tons less than for the same period last year.
