More than 55 MT of grain harvested in Ukraine — Harvest Online 2017

As of October 10, 55.1 million tons of grain are harvested In Ukraine. According to the data of the joint project of Latifundist.com and AGCO Harvest Online 2017, harvesting of grain crops is carried out on 92% of the forecast areas which makes up 13.4 million hectares. The average yield amounts to 4.12 t/ha (2016 — 4.43 t/ha).

Corn yield totals 16.9 million tons, with the average productivity of 5.09 tons per hectare (2016 — 6.12 tons/ha).

Soy is harvested on 1.8 million hectares or 91% of the forecast. The yield amounts to 3.5 million tons, with the average productivity of 1.91 tons/ha (2016 — 2.25 tons/ha).

Sunflower harvest amounts to 11.6 million tons, harvesting campaign is completed on 98% of the area, and the average productivity makes up 1.99 t/ha (2016 — 2.26 t/ha).

Sugar beet is harvested on the area of 271 thousand hectares or 85% of the forecast, the yield is 12.2 million tons, with the average productivity of 45.1 tons/ha (2016 — 47.6 tons/ha).

The highest yields of grain and leguminous crops are recorded in the following regions: Khmelnitsky — 6.06 t/ha, Sumy — 5.64 t/ha, Vinnitsa — 5.62 t/ha, Ternopol — 5.53 t/ha, Chernovtsy — 5.40 t/ha, Chernigov — 5.26 t/ha and Ivano-Frankovsk — 49.2 t/ha.
