Export of grain from the sea ports of Ukraine increased by 67%

In the period from November 4 to November 10, 871 thousand tons of grain were exported from Ukrainian sea ports, which is 67% more than a week earlier (522 thousand tons).

APK-Inform reports that the leading export crop in the reporting period is corn — 420 thousand tons against 160 thousand tons a week earlier. The export of barley also increased significantly to 103 thousand tons (16 thousand tons a week earlier). The volume of shipments of wheat remained practically unchanged and amounted to 348 thousand tons.

The largest volume of Ukrainian grain was imported to Bangladesh — 101 thousand tons. Singapore imported 68 thousand tons of grain.

Reference: for the first 10 months of 2017, 31.8 million tons of grain were shipped for export from the Ukrainian seaports.
