Ukrainian export of sorghum in Jan-Oct made up 136k tons

Export of sorghum in January-October 2017 amounted to 136.19 thousand tons. 

Tha data of the State Fiscal Service of Ukraine shows that in October the export of sorghum made up 3.9 thousand tons.

In January-October, the main importers of sorghum were Spain (USD 14.05 million), Israel (USD 1.3 million) and Poland (USD 1.18 million). Exports to these countries amounted to 97.03 thousand tons, 9.04 tons and 8.13 tons of sorghum, respectively.

Reference: the European Commission almost halved the import duty on maize, sorghum and rye — up to EUR 5.61 per ton.
