Ukrainian sugar producers reported 1.7 MT output

Since the beginning of MY 2017/18, as of December 5, Ukrainian sugar plants produced 1.74 million tons of sugar.

National Association of Sugar Producers of Ukraine (Ukrsugar) reports that the volume of sugar beet processing totaled to 12.19 million tons.

As of December 4, 23 sugar plants have completed the sugar refining season.

In the current season, sugar production will remain at the level of the previous year — 1.9-2 million tons, about 500 thousand tons of which may be exported.
