Grain transshipment in sea ports in Jan-Nov increased to 36 MT

The seaports of Ukraine in January-November 2017 transshipped 35.94 million tons of grain, which is 2.82% more than for the same period last year.

The Ukrainian Sea Ports Administration (USPA) reports that the following seaports are the leaders in grain transshipment:

  • Nikolaev — 8.29 million tons (+2.07% compared to the same period last year);
  • Yuzhnyi — 7.93 million tons (+9.7%);
  • Chernomorsk — 7.35 million tons (+6.77%);
  • Odessa — 7.09 million tons (–5.72%);
  • Olvia — 3.06 million tons (+22.17%).

From the beginning of MY 2017/18, as of December 6 2017, Ukraine exported 17.5 million tons of grain, which is 1.29 million tons less than for the same period of the previous year.
