Ukraine in Jan-Nov exported 38 thousand tons of beef

In January-November 2017, Ukraine exported 37.87 thousand tons of fresh and frozen beef for the amount of USD 105.83 million.

According to the State Fiscal Service, Ukraine exported 10.98 thousand tons of fresh or chilled beef and 26.88 thousand tons of frozen beef. The main importer of fresh beef in January-November is Belarus (USD 28.2 million), where 10.88 thousand tons (99.04% of the total volume) were supplied.

Frozen beef was exported to Azerbaijan (USD 18.59 million), Kazakhstan (USD 17.24 million) and Belarus (USD 14.74 million). Exports to these countries amounted to 6.47 thousand tons, 5.92 tons and 5.12 tons of frozen beef, respectively.

Reference: the expected volumes of beef production (295 thousand tons) and pork (621 thousand tons) in 2017 will be among the lowest.
