In Jan-Nov Ukraine imported tomatoes for the amount of USD 18.83 million

Over the period of January-November, 2017 Ukraine imported 29.74 thousand tons of tomatoes worth of USD 18.83 million.
The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine reports that the major tomato suppliers were Turkey (USD 17.44 million), the Netherlands (USD 0.46 million) and Spain (USD 0.31 million). Deliveries from these countries amounted to 27.39 thousand tons, 0.79 thousand tons and 0.48 thousand tons of tomatoes, respectively.
In 2016, Ukraine imported 36.63 thousand tons of tomatoes for the amount of USD 29.53 million.
Reference: last year, Ukraine exported tomatoes for USD 17.2 million, which is 65% (USD 6.8 million) more than the indicator of 2015 — USD 10.4 million.
