2.8 thousand tons of pigs were exported from Ukraine in Jan-Nov

Ukraine in January-November 2017 exported 2.81 tons of live pigs worth of USD 4.37 million.
The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine informs that the main importer of Ukrainian pigs in the reporting period is Georgia, which was delivered 100% of pig stock.
In 2016, the export of live pigs amounted to 2.7 thousand tons (worth of USD 3.2 million).
Reference: 140 cases of ASF were recorded in the territory of Ukraine from the beginning of 2017, 111 of which were domestic pigs, 24 — wild ones, and 5 — infected objects (the owners were not be established).
