Wheat reserves in Ukraine make up 10 million tons

Wheat reserves at processing and storing enterprises as of December 1, 2017 amounted to 9.72 million tons, which is 408 thousand tons less than the same indicator in 2016 — 10.12 million tons.

The data of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine shows that the highest stocks of wheat are at the enterprises of Odessa (923.7 thousand tons), Kharkiv (783 thousand tons) and Zaporozhye (714.8 thousand tons) regions.

The lowest stocks of wheat are at the enterprises of Zakarpattia (3,4 thousand tons), Chernivtsi (62.1 thousand tons) and Ivano-Frankivsk (130.7 thousand tons) regions.

Earlier it was reported that Ukraine from the beginning of MY 2017/18 as of December 21, 2017 exported 11.01 million tons of wheat, which is 130 thousand tons more than the indicator for the same period last year.
